Y2Y Summer Soiree June 13

Get excited for the Summer Soirée organized by the World Bank Group Youth-to-Youth (Y2Y) Community. Come enjoy a fun evening on the rooftop of Lost Society while interacting with other young professionals from the DMV area and dancing to some DJ beats. By purchasing your ticket and joining us at the event you are also helping us engage, inspire and empower youth in development!

*Part of the collected funds will be donated to Barwaaqo University in Somaliland, through the US-based non-profit entity, the Horn of African Education Development (HED) Fund, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Established in Fall 2017, Barwaaqo University is a new women’s university, initially offering a School of Education to train the next generation of Somali primary school teachers. Future expansions will include a School of Business/Management, School of Information Technology, and potentially a Nursing or Engineering school, all to provide Somali women with the core skills required to help build the country’s infrastructure and support their families.
